Bathurst is one of those places that makes or breaks a person. The mountain may have tried to break us, but it has only made us more determined to get back there again, and see what we can do.

KS Motorsport driver Kelli Stephens will be kick starting the 2012 season, with an attack on the iconic Mount Panorama circuit, at Bathurst NSW .

With new naming rights sponsor on board – Salooncars.net.au, Kelli is looking to improve on the last time she raced at Bathurst.

The final round of the Australian Saloon Car Series at Phillip Island, was always going to be an action packed round, with several competitors battling it out for 2nd place (Matt Lovell had already secured the championship), but no one expected it to be as big as it turned out to be.

Kelli went into the round, in 9th place on the leader board, and was aiming to improve. "Honestly, I am more than happy to finish in the top 10, in only my second ever national series, but to finish top 8, would be better than I had hoped for"
